How does selling work in Second Life?
When we sell your work in the gallery, it’s like selling a copy of the art for the consumer’s personal use. The permissions system allows the buyer to show the art at their home without accidental deletion in Second Life, but they may not transfer it to anyone else.

How do we price art in the gallery?
Prices at Salient are consistent with other galleries, which averages about $2 per item. So, a successful exhibition could bring in about $50 for the artist. Remember that this digital copy of your art is only usable within Second Life. If you would like to set your prices, you’re welcome to do that. Gallery commission will stay the same at 50%.
